Indirectly, you could say that essential oils are a fertiliser for the growth of your hair.
Essential oils deeply penetrate into the skin on your scalp; helping to ‘feed’ the hair follicle which stimulates its growth. They soothe itchy scalp and alleviate dandruff, eczema as well as psoriasis.
The oils in HALKA B. Organics Hair Oil for Dark Hair and Hair Oil for Fair Hair do all the above and more.
The Carrier Oils such as Moroccan Argan, Black Cumin Seeds, Virgin Olive, Black Sesame, Avocado, Castor, Baobab as well as Jojoba in both hair oils are combined with the Pure Essential Oils of Ginger, Thyme, Cedarwood, Palmarosa, Lemongrass, Clary Sage and Rosemary to help support and transport these essential oils into the scalp.
Essential Oils in their pure form cannot be applied directly on the skin because of their potency and that is the reason why they need to be diluted with Carrier Oils.
Each of these Carrier Oils or Base Oils as they are known as, have various therapeutic properties. Pure Essential Oils are beneficial too for healing.
Each hair oil has Natural Vitamin E added.
I have tried Halka Beseda’s (founder of HALKA B. Organics) hair oils and found them both to help cleanse and moisturise my scalp and hair.
In separate applications of each hair oil I massaged my scalp then left the hair oils in for about 30 minutes. It felt so good that I nearly fell asleep.
Both hair oils were easy to wash out and my hair and scalp felt so much healthier and looked so shiny too.
The hair oil for dark hair has a warm spicy aroma while I could detect the scent of gingery lemongrass of the hair oil for fair hair.
The natural and organic ingredients in Halka’s hair oils were made to strengthen fine hair, encourage hair growth and support scalp health. Sounds good to my mother and I!
You also can reap the benefits of HALKA B. Organics Hair Oil for Dark Hair and Hair Oil for Fair Hair while knowing that there are no nasty toxins being absorbed into your body.
Here is what Halka Beseda said about her hair oils:
“Rosemary which was added to the hair oil for dark hair stains the blond hair with an orange red shimmer if used regularly. This is why I omitted the Rosemary from the fair hair oil but added a little bit more clary sage to make up for it.
The fair hair oil can be used by dark and faired hair people.
One thing that people also might like though is that these oils can be used very sparingly as a leave in solution after washing before hair drying/styling or when hair feels dry.
I usually just take a couple of drops, warm it up between the palms and gently apply to the end and middle bits of the hair.
The trick really is less is more here.”

Did You Know
It is a dead giveaway why you do not feel your hair being cut and that is because the hair strands are ‘dead’; strictly speaking. Well in some respects they are as the hair growing outside your scalp have ‘severed’ their ties with the scalp follicles they grow from as they do not contain blood, muscles or nerves for that matter.
So why spend all that time cleaning and grooming your hair when it is inanimate (not alive)? The answer here has to do with your scalp.
Blood capillaries (extremely small blood vessels) surround hair follicles to supply each individual hair strand with the nourishment it needs for cell production and growth. Therefore your scalp needs to be nurtured (cared for and protected) so you can keep on growing those lovely locks of yours.
