Most people won’t have a ‘bar’ of solid soaps. They have been led to believe that soap bars are unhygienic which is a misbelief.
Anyhow, the best bar of soap to wash your body with is one that is handmade from all natural ingredients and has been cold processed.

‘helleo’ solid soaps are REAL soapy treasures. Their handmade solid soaps are 100% natural and made with organic olive oil from the island of Crete in Greece.
Jo Richards founder of nearernature.co.uk, to my delight, sent me 1 helleo Prickly Pear – Aloe Vera 100% Natural Olive Oil handmade solid soap to try.
The combination of Organic olive oil, Coconut oil, St. John’s wort extract, Aloe Vera juice and Prickly pear juice with the Essential oils of Lavender, Pine, Ylang Ylang as well as Patchouli made my skin feel deeply cleansed and well hydrated. The scent is just divine.
The added benefits of using this helleo solid soap comes from the healing properties of Aloe Vera; the antioxidant and soothing properties of Prickly Pear and the moisturising disinfecting properties of St. John’s Wort.
It’s been a few weeks since I’ve lathered up with the Prickly Pear – Aloe Vera handmade solid soap from helleo and it has lasted well because I placed the soap in an all natural sisal soap sack to prevent it from slipping out of my hands while washing my body.
Sisal soap sacks are great as they help to exfoliate the skin and aid to extend the life of solid soaps as they can be hung on the taps; enabling the soap to hang around and ‘drip dry’. I still have a fair bit of helleo Prickly Pear – Aloe Vera solid soap left which is impressive.
I’m really looking forward to trying the other helleo solid soaps: Spirulina – Green Tea; Pomegranate – Red Wine; Beer – Rosemary; Honey – Thyme and Chamomile – Calendula.
All of helleo solid soaps are appropriate to use on the body and hair. They are biodegradable and eco-friendly which is definitely not a ‘drain’ on the environment. You will find that helleo solid soaps are wrapped individually in recycled paper.

The packaging and design was created by graphic design team ‘Till Noon’ which are based in Athen’s Greece. You can check out Till Noon’s work for helleo on behance.net

Cheryl McCoy Says:
(NaturalNews) The next time you walk down the soap aisle at your favorite store enjoying the fresh, clean scents and the bright colorful packaging, pay attention. Look at the labels.
The vast majority of the products on the shelf don’t say ‘soap’ on their labels. They might be called beauty bars, moisturizing bars, or body bars, but not soap. That’s because these bars aren’t actually soap and can’t legally claim to be; they’re detergents.
The manufacturers have removed most of the ‘good’ stuff that occurs in the soap making process, and replaced it with synthetic lathering agents and harsh chemicals. These cheap, plentiful detergent bars are not only bad for your skin, but they’re also bad for the planet, too.
