The lips are the ‘gateway’ to inside of the mouth and they take part in conversation. More important are the type of lip balms which are used to moisturise them.
I choose organic lips balms because what you apply on your lips gets absorbed through the skin and what passes your lips, for example food/drink, will transfer some of that lip balm along with it; which is then ingested.
Mokosh have three moisturising lip balms which have been stored in glass jars and I was delighted to try their Moisturising Lip Balm with Virgin Coconut & Apricot Kernel Oils. Virgin coconut oil and apricot oil are certified organic as are the added ingredients of jojoba oil, beeswax and rosemary leaf extract.

The lip balm did well to moisturise my lips as well as my mothers. I found that I did not need to apply it as often as I had done with non-organic lip balms or chapsticks which I had used in my teens and early twenties.
Use sparingly as you only need a smidgen (small amount) to give your lips the nourishment they need.
Kudos to Marion O’Leary, founder of Mokosh, and Jayne Bland for their tireless effort in providing us with skin care products that truly nurture our skin.
Men too can ‘pucker up’ and apply this wonderful moisturising lip balm to their lips.
