Time waits for nobody and in no time you will look in that mirror and see an older version of yourself. We cannot turn back the hands of time but what we can do is slow the aging process of our skin by looking after it.
Mokosh Shea Body Butter with Frankincense, Lavender and Geranium

There is no doubt that this Shea Body Butter, from Mokosh, is an excellent moisturiser and nutrient-rich food for the skin. This exceedingly enriched moisturising cream soothes sore dry sensitive skin. The organic unrefined Shea butter containing Vitamin A is a great anti-inflammatory which helps to heal a myriad of skin conditions including Eczema, Dermatitis, Psoriasis, Sunburn, Rashes and Insect Bites to name a few.
My mother and I just love the aromatic earthy fragrance of Mokosh Shea Body Butter with Frankincense, Lavender and Geranium. It left our skin feeling very soft and silky smooth. The dry skin on my elbows healed within a few days of using this ‘wonder balm’.
Marion O’Leary, founder of Mokosh, formulates her creams without the use of water and therefore they are less likely to become contaminated; so no need for added preservatives. Just bear in mind though that if you intend to use your fingers to spread the Shea body butter on your skin, you need to make sure your fingers are clean and dry before dipping in.
Remember less is best as this Shea body butter is concentrated. You can either apply to moist skin which will help the body butter to easily glide over the skin or apply to dry skin and thoroughly massage.
I stored this cream in the refrigerator as it is warming up to our summer. It felt so refreshing and cool when I applied it on my skin.
Mokosh Shea Body Butters come in a glass jar and will last for two years; providing they are looked after well.

Mokosh Light Body Moisturiser with Sandalwood and Vanilla

As the name suggests, this body moisturiser from Mokosh is not as intense as their body butters. As ‘light‘ as it may be, it still offers protection from the elements.
The certified organic ingredients of Unrefined Shea Butter, Camellia Oil, Jojoba Oil, Macadamia Oil, Coconut Oil, Essential Oils of Sandalwood and Vanilla help to nourish the skin with their combination of anti-oxidants, phytonutrients and vitamins.
The subtle sweet woodsy scent of Mokosh Light Body Moisturiser stimulated my senses. I applied it on my dampened skin and it absorbed easily. You can smear it on dry skin but you need to massage it in very well. Use clean dry fingers before immersing them into the moisturiser.
My mother liked the Light Body Moisturiser from Mokosh but I think her favourite is their Shea Body Butter with Frankincense, Lavender and Geranium.
